Privacy Policy

Tabzero is maintained by the Tabzero Team. This policy covers Tabzero’s own website and development software. Sites you save or visit through a source link have their own privacy policies.

When you use Google sign-in, Tabzero receives your Google account identifier, email address, name and profile image when supplied. Account and session records support authentication. The current sign-in flow requests identity, email and profile access; it does not request access to your Gmail messages or Google Drive documents.

When you save tabs or write notes, the workspace processes note text, titles, saved URLs and associated tab metadata, such as page titles and favicon URLs. Folder names, note revisions, deletion markers and preferences support organization and synchronization. Source links may themselves contain personal information; review what you save.

The extension uses browser permissions to list and manage tabs and tab groups, save selected sources, support shortcuts and store application data. Using these features can expose open-tab titles and URLs to the extension. Account synchronization sends saved note and source data to the configured Tabzero service.

Requests to the website, API and image hosts necessarily expose connection information such as IP address, request time and user-agent information to the infrastructure handling them. Operational logging may depend on the deployment and hosting provider.

Information is used to sign you in, associate notes with your account, save and reopen sources, synchronize changes, recover conflicting edits and operate the service. This policy does not grant permission to use your notes for advertising or AI model training. AI Notes is planned, and the website demonstration is illustrative; it does not run an AI request on your actual browser tabs.

The website stores its theme preference in browser local storage. Sign-in uses authentication state and session information; the Google authentication flow uses a short-lived cookie. The Web Workspace and extension use browser storage for application state, cached notes, pending changes and recovery information.

Signing out, clearing browser data and uninstalling the extension affect local access or storage, but do not by themselves delete account records on the server. Clearing storage before pending changes have synchronized can remove unsaved work.

The public website is hosted on Vercel. Google provides sign-in. The public blog uses Neon PostgreSQL and may deliver images through Cloudinary. The account service uses PostgreSQL; its hosting depends on the configured deployment. These services process information needed to provide their respective functions; a blog image provider does not receive your private notes merely because it serves an image.

Opening saved sources or loading externally hosted images connects your browser to those sites. Provider infrastructure can process information in countries other than your own. We do not promise a particular data-residency location or end-to-end encryption.

Saved account data remains available to support the workspace until it is removed through the service or an account-level request is handled. The current note deletion API clears the note payload and retains a deletion marker and revision metadata so other devices can synchronize the deletion. Local copies, pending changes and provider backups may have different lifetimes.

A fixed retention schedule and self-service account deletion are not established for this preview. Deleting a note is not the same as deleting an account. Do not rely on preview software as the only copy of important information.

You can choose which sources to save, edit or delete notes, export notes where available, sign out, revoke Google access through your Google account, or remove the extension. Revoking Google access does not automatically erase data already stored by Tabzero.
